# Dynamic product groups

With dynamic product groups you combine products not manually but automatically, based on definable conditions. Using filter rules you define which characteristics a product must meet (for example manufacturer, price or category) - all matching products are assigned to the group automatically and update as soon as new products meet the criteria.

You can then use these groups in many places in your shop, for example in the product listings of the Shopping Experiences, in cross-selling or as the basis for promotions.

You can find the module under **Catalogues > Dynamic product groups**.

### Creating a dynamic product group

1. Open **Catalogues > Dynamic product groups** and click **Create dynamic product group**.
2. Enter a meaningful **name** and, optionally, a **description**.
3. In the **Filter** area, use **AND** and **OR** conditions to define which products belong to the group.
4. Use the **Preview** to check which products currently match, then **save** the group.
