Creating a ThemeWare® duplicate

In this tutorial you will learn how to create a ThemeWare® theme duplicate in Shopware 6.

1. Open the administration of your shop

2. Change via the main navigation to the "Theme Management" ("Content" => "Themes")

   • Note: In the Shopware Cloud, please find the section "Themes" directly in the main navigation.

3. Now click onto the Context button in the upper right of the preview image of your ThemeWare® base theme in order to open the Context Menu.
4. Click "Create duplicate"

5. A pop-up will appear again allowing you to enter the name for the duplicate

6. Confirm the creation with "Create duplicate".

Now you have created a ThemeWare® theme duplicate and you are free to configure it independently from the Parent Theme.

Tip: You will benefit from our improved theme configuration representation when the name of the duplicate contains the word "ThemeWare".
