# Clearing / warming up the Shopware cache

Most of the representation errors in the storefront result from an outdated cache.

In order to avoid or fix problems, you should clear the cache after each change that affects the storefront and warm it up when necessary.

## Clearing the cache

1. Open your shop administration
2. Navigate to the section "Settings" => "System" => "**Cache & Indexes**".
3. Click "**Clear caches**"
4. *The Shopware cache is being cleared now*

## Clearing and warming up the cache

1. Open your shop administration
2. Navigate to the section "Settings" => "System" => "**Cache & Indexes**".
3. Click "**Clear and warm up caches**"
4. *The Shopware cache is now being cleared and warmed up*
