# What does the "Extension Warning" window mean when opening my admin?

If you have an extension in the shop for which you do not have a valid licence, a corresponding message appears when you open the administration. At least one licence of the extensions you are using has expired.

<figure><img src="/files/DcbGfUibuvENM02GL15e" alt=""><figcaption><p>Shopware Extension Warning</p></figcaption></figure>

Below the warning you will see the name of the affected extension. Shopware makes no difference whether the extension has the status "activated", "deactivated" or "uninstalled" in the extension manager.

**Unlicensed plugins must be completely deleted and may not appear in the extension manager of your shop!**

You can do this by using the link **"Delete extension permanetly"**. Alternatively you can purchase a licence for the respective extension. Click on the button **"Buy extension"** to go to the respective page in the Community Store.
