# Deactivate extensions

* Open the administration of your shop
* Switch via the main navigation to the "**Extension Management**" (1) (2) ("Extensions" => "My Extensions")
* Deactivate the extension via the ![](/files/h5JAVuLAvO0YPV6HWbCt) **switch button** (3) on the left of the extension logo

The extension has now been deactivated.

**Tip**: In order to deactivate a theme, it must no longer be assigned to a sales channel!

**Important**: Unlicensed extensions must be completely deleted and may not appear in the plugin manager of your shop!
