# Deactivate extensions

* Open the administration of your shop
* Switch via the main navigation to the "**Extension Management**" (1) (2) ("Extensions" => "My Extensions")
* Deactivate the extension via the ![](https://1979975522-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F178YilsPBIFHBAxTvcMo%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-7ae816aeba306f6294f556cbf69234df8eebd6f4%2Fconfig--swtich-active.png?alt=media) **switch button** (3) on the left of the extension logo

The extension has now been deactivated.

**Tip**: In order to deactivate a theme, it must no longer be assigned to a sales channel!
