# Debug mode

In the ThemeWare® plugin configuration (not theme configuration) you have the option to enable the **ThemeWare® "Debug mode"**.

If "Debug mode" is enabled, the "Expert settings", for example, are no longer taken into account.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: The "Debug mode" should not be used in productive environments.
{% endhint %}

#### Debugging

If you have issues in your shop, activate "Debug mode" once, clear the Shopware cache and your browser cache and then check the Storefront again.

This allows you to check whether there are any problems with your "Expert Settings" with just one click.

Deactivate "Debug mode" when you have finished debugging.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: The "Expert settings" are "individual customisations". As part of the plugin support, we cannot provide support here, or only to a very limited extent.
{% endhint %}
