# Combining themes

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: This article is work in progress.
{% endhint %}

In this article you will learn how to combine ThemeWare® themes.

## Example

1. Have a look at the other themes ([demoshops](https://demo.themeware.design/))
2. Install an additional theme with a free trial month
   * make sure that both ThemeWare® versions are identical
   * the procedure is 100% free of charge (make sure to cancel the additional themes before the trial month ends!)
3. *Optional*: create a backup of your theme configuration
4. Compare the theme configurations
5. Adopt parts of the theme configuration
6. Compile the theme – done!
7. Uninstall the additional theme and delete it completely

**Tip**: The **ThemeWare® Hub** has dedicated tabs for steps 3 and 5. In the tab "**Backup**" you secure the configuration of a theme with a single click, in the tab "**Variants**" you bring along the customisations from another ThemeWare® theme via "Take over configuration". You reach the Hub via the main navigation "**Content**" => "**ThemeWare® {your theme}**". The Hub is part of the ThemeWare® improvements to the administration and is therefore only available in the Pro Edition ([Manual](https://docs.themeware.design/additional-features/hub)).
