The "Announcement banner" is a ThemeWare® extension with which a configurable banner can be displayed above the header. This is useful, for example, for important messages such as shop promotions or shipping delays.

Apps are a variant of extensions that extend the functionality of Shopware 6 Cloud and Shopware 6 (Self-hosted) and are based on the Shopware 6 App system. They are activated in Shopware and not installed like plugins. Apps are executed outside of Shopware and usually run on other (external) servers. They do not have access to the Shopware Core.

Apps are designed to extend and modify Shopware without changing the actual functionality of Shopware. Apps do not have access to the Shopware Core and communicate with external services via an API.

Sie unterscheiden sich durch Elemente wie farbliche eine Hervorhebungen, Schatten und Mouseover-Effekten vor allem optisch von regulären Links. In Shopware gibt es diverse Buttons wie beispielsweise den , oder . Einige Buttons haben eine individuelle Farbkonfiguration.

Ein Element der Produktseiten welches verschiedene Informationen eines Produktes (z.B. Preis und Produktnummer) sowie den Kaufen-Button anzeigt.

Der Buybutton (auch Kaufen-Button genannt) ist ein spezieller (Call-to-Action) Button in Shopware. Er ist üblicherweise mit "In den Warenkorb" beschriftet. Bei klick auf diesen Button wird beispielsweise ein Produkt im Listing in den Warenkorb gelegt. Der Button hat eine individuelle Farbkonfiguration.

Categories are the menu items in the main navigation, but also in the service and footer navigation. Categories are the pages (or CMS pages) of your shop. The layout (or CMS layout) of a category can have different "types" (e.g. or ). These layouts are Shopping Experiences that you can freely design. Es gibt verschiedene CMS-Elemente wie Text, Bild, Bild-Slider, Galerie, YouTube-Video, Vimeo-Video, Produkt-Box, Produkt-Slider, Produkt-Filter, Kategorie-Navigation und Formular. Diese Elemente werden in CMS-Blöcke integriert und können mit dem eigentlichen Content befüllt werden.

Eine CMS-Sektion ist ein Inhalts-Bereich einer Erlebniswelt welcher in zwei Varianten genutzt werden kann: "Sidebar" und "Volle Breite". In diese Sektionen werden die CMS-Blöcke (Inhalts-Blöcke) eingefügt. Eine Erlebniswelt kann mehrere CMS-Sektionen beider Varianten enthalten.

Der Größenmodus einer CMS-Sektion definiert welche Breite der Content in der Sektion einnimmt. Im Modus 'Volle Breite' geht der Content über die volle Bildschirmbreite. Im Größenmodus 'Zentrierter Inhalt' wird der Content im Boxed-Layout dargestellt.

Data mapping in the CMS allows you to link configuration fields within CMS elements to dynamic content. Using the "Data mapping" button, you can assign values such as the category image or category name to a field. These values are then rendered dynamically in the storefront. - This is especially useful for generic category layouts that are used across multiple categories.

Datasheets are not a basic function of Shopware 6, but you can integrate them into your storefront via the custom fields provided by ThemeWare® in the respective product.

The delivery information is the line that sums up the delivery status of a product – for example "Available, delivery time: 1-3 days", "Sold out" or "Available for pre-order". It is made up of and . You can activate/deactivate (grid) guides in the storefront in the ThemeWare® plugin settings. The plugin settings can be found in the Plugin Manager, not in the Theme Manager.

A Hard Refresh in the browser clears the cache for the current page and reloads all content directly from the server. This helps resolve outdated or faulty displays caused by cached files. You can typically perform a Hard Refresh by pressing Ctrl + F5 (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + R (Mac).

Shopping Experiences (or CMS layouts) of the type "Landing page" offer you a wide range of design and marketing options in your shop. You can use this layout or page type for the home page of your shop, for example.

In addition to the "Landing page" layout type for CMS layouts or categories, Shopware also offers the option of creating dedicated landing pages that can be accessed via a selectable SEO URL using a separate section in the category management. These can be topic pages for marketing or other pages that your customers can land on while visiting the shop.

In terms of categories and Shopping Experiences, a "Layout type" is the type of CMS layout you create (e.g. ). You can then assign a layout to any category or product. If you assign a CMS layout of the type "Listing page" to a category, this category will be a page with a product listing. The layout (or CMS layout) of a category can have different "Types" (e.g. , or ). The "Layout type" of a category technically defines the page type of that category. Shopware provides specific features depending on the page type of a category. A listing page, for example, has the page type ‘product_list’.

"Parallax" refers to a 2D visual effect that creates spatial depth. This effect occurs when two or more objects move differently from each other, with elements further away moving slower and those closer moving faster.

The sidebar is part of a CMS layout in Shopware 6. You can "choose a section type to start with" in the Shopping Experience editor when creating a new layout. Shopware generates a standard sitemap that is compressed and cached in the file system. In the administration under "Settings > Shop > Sitemap" you can define the refresh time for the sitemap and set a refresh strategy how the sitemap should be updated.
