# Withdrawal button

**Starting June 19, 2026**, the so-called **withdrawal button** will become mandatory for many online stores in Germany. Customers must then be able to submit their withdrawal **electronically and directly within the shop**. According to Shopware, this mainly affects stores selling to consumers, while clearly separated pure B2B shops are generally not affected.

## ThemeWare® is ready

ThemeWare® can display the withdrawal button from version **3.7.4 onwards for Shopware 6.6.10.14**, or from version **4.3.0 onwards for Shopware 6.7.9**.

It will then be displayed – as intended by Shopware – in the **"Service Hotline" footer widget** (see screenshot).

## Activate the withdrawal button

### Shopware

The "**Revoke a contract**" button is a default Shopware feature. You can enable it in your Shopware settings under **Basic information**.

<figure><img src="/files/h8fwC9p0ehFmBbseMTSM" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="success" %}
**Tip**: Make sure that a suitable CMS layout with a revocation form is assigned as the **"Shop page layout for revocation request"** – Shopware should have already created a suitable layout during the update.
{% endhint %}

### ThemeWare®

In ThemeWare®, all you need to do is ensure that the **"Service Hotline" footer widget** is included in your footer.

> see Tab "Footer" ⇒ Block "Assigning and arranging content" ⇒ Element 1 - 11

{% hint style="info" %}
**Note**: The withdrawal button will appear in the **"Service Hotline" footer widget**. Make sure you have included this widget in your footer.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Important**: If the button is not displayed, please check that you have configured Shopware correctly, that the ‘Service Hotline’ widget is included in your footer, and that no third-party extensions or custom template modifications are interfering with the intended display.
{% endhint %}
